Cosette “CoCo” Leary - Author, Speaker
“Hearing someone you love, someone in your bloodline history, say to you, ‘I didn’t do half of what I wanted with my life’....it does something to your soul”
$742. That’s how much CoCo was earning per month as she raised four children by herself.
One miraculous event later—and many years of carving her own path—CoCo was interning for Senator Maria Cantwell in Washington state. She joined a think tank on Capitol Hill. Now she’s come back to tell her tale in her book, “From Welfare to the White House”.
CoCo’s main work—when she isn’t giving keynote speeches—is helping people find the thing that lights them up, that made them feel invincible as a child. She describes more in the episode, as well as the importance of stepping out of your past and creating a path that, until you, had never existed.
